Under Harry Redknapp the former Chelsea and Manchester City star didn’t make a single Premier League appearance this season, however Ramsey has already changed that.

While not being fully fit, Wright-Phillips is desperate to find a regular role in the squad before it is too late and even dismissed January offers to prove himself at Loftus Road.

“It’s all going well now. It’s all a clean slate,” he told Sky Sports.

“The manager is in charge now and I’m just continuing to work hard, like I have done for the last year.

“There was stuff flying around and offers and opportunities [in January], but I believe in my ability and I know what I’m capable of and I just needed a chance.

“The person that’s taken over has given me that chance.”

Reports suggested that a number of Championship clubs were keen to take the 33-year-old on loan in January and even offers from the MLS had come in.
